Live Long and Wealthy

Living Longer

The articles here are mainly to expand the way we think about longevity

What we think is what we become and the life we create. Changing the way we think is not easy because many of our opinions and beliefs are deep rooted.

As we learn more and more we realize that things are not always what we thought or even what they seem.  But, knowledge is power and it is what gives us wings to fly into the unknown and find what we thought we would never find.  After all, isn't that what faith is?

Why we do this...

Most of us may remember growing up believing that only God decides if we should live (for how long), what our life will be and when we will die.  We accept that because of our faith.

There is the other side of the coin.  We have been given knowledge, skills, abilities and the wherewithall to discover so many wonderful things we enjoy today.  Why would life and the extension of life not be amongst of them?

Science, whether it is always right or not, is a tool we have been given to create whatever we desire. We have learned that our life is what we make of it.  The length of life is also what we choose it to be.  For centuries, people have wanted to live longer, but, due to false beliefs we assumed there is nothing we can do.  We now know there is something we can do as is evident by the fact that we live twice as long as we did a century ago.

Our thinking and mainly our way of thinking that places limitations to what we can do is often ingrained in us at a very young age.  We must change our mind, mainly because we know we can make choices that bring about results (wanted or unwanted) in our life.

We do have a choice to make life the way we want it to be and are fortunate to live where we can chose how to go about that. We can also decide to support the work required to find ways to live the life we are meant to live much longer than ever before.
